Starting over is always hard. For Kacie, starting over with two adorable, yet mischievous twins means double the fun. Kacie lives with her Mom to get where she wants to be - a nurse and raise her girls independently. A sudden powerful storm blows in and creates a stir with her plans in the form of hockey player, Brody Murphy. I love hockey romance. So any time a trusted friend makes a recommendation, I am all over it. This is one of those books that is a light hearted, easy read. I loved the dialogue and storyline Ms Eheman puts the main characters through. I connected more with Brody than Kacie. Her character seemed to be holding back a bit where Brody seemed open hearted and ready for new beginnings. Warning - you'll want to pick up book 2 as soon as you finish book 1. Not a cliffhanger of "OH MY GOD!" proportions. Yet, still wanting to know what's in store for the characters to get to their HEA.
