Really to understand how Reed deserves a HEA, you need to get to know him first. It's one of those stories where the unsuspecting Hero has a girl knock him off his feet. Beth breezes into Ruxton and does just that.
If you love a vulnerable man, this read is for you. Reed comes off with quick comebacks and one and done attitude. However, Ms Daniels gives you glimpses and insights that there are deeper feelings to this man to be slowly peeled back as the story unfolds. And Beth. She's the person to bring him out of his 'loveless' life. Another soul needing and wanting to find love, she tries to cover her feelings for Reed. Beth has that soft vulnerability that makes you want to protect her. With all that Beth went through, she gave into too fast to her demons.
Again another ball out of the park read for me. J. Daniels gives you some fun and giggles. But, when she turns on the steam, watch out, the couple is HOT. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
