This story is set in my favorite trope - second chance. But not really when the other guy doesn't know you are 'in-to-him'. Beck is a motorcross star, trying to find his racing mojo after all the media circus around his coming out. Christian is the HS friend he had a secret thing about. Beck and Christian have this insta-chemistry that is more than just friendship. Once they both recognize it, boy oh boy, do they make up for opportunities missed.

I love novella formats especially when life doesn't give me time to read in one sitting. So what's my complaint? Yeah, it's I wanted more. The story felt a bit rushed in places so that it gave the reader a complete story. However, I love this author's story telling and if you are reading the Crossroads series, this book is definitely recommended.
