All I Want

All I Want - J. Daniels "It shouldn't be possible, but I think the more you love someone, the easier they are to hate."

Isn't it amazing how being so deeply in love with someone makes you want to commit murder? If you have read book 1 of the Alabama Summer series, you'll be familiar with the train wreck that is Tessa and Luke. As Author J. Daniels points out, this book could be a standalone. But really, do yourself a favor and read book 1. You'll want the back story to see how deeply the two main characters feel.

The true mettle of a great author is that they immerse you in the character's world so deeply. You feel what they feel and turn to hope for a better ending. I'll tell you, I was feeling this. There were parts of the story where - toss a coin- I was going to slap the crap out of either character. Didn't matter. They were both so stubborn, pigheaded and closed off. Yep, I was going to throw the eBook at one point I was so frustrated with them. But, pause, isn't that the telling tale that the writing was stellar?

This is a must read series for me. I loved the character interactions from the previous stories continue to make the read enjoyable when I wasn't feeling murderous. I'm not an overly angsty person, so in rating against the others, not my top #1 book. However, its still a great read. A rollercoaster to HEA with some very, very sexy scenes. 4 out of 5 'ebook came out unscathed' stars.
