Tyrant (KING Book 2)

Tyrant (KING Book 2) - T.M. Frazier Have you read a story where you hold your breath? Your heart is racing so fast you can hear the blood racing through your ears? It’s so intense you slam your Kindle cover to stop reading you are so anxiety ridden but then you open it right back up because you HAVE TO KNOW what happens next? This was me at 71% of reading Tyrant. Other readers may figure out the twists and turns of T.M. Frazier second book. Not here - I was shocked and totally unexpected. Thus this has to be a shorter review. You have to experience this read for yourself. No spoilers here.

By the way, if you are thinking about reading this book without reading book 1, do not do that. As a reader, you really need the background from one to take the ride in two. I would consider this more of Doe’s story. T.M. Frazier still offers you an alternating point of view between King and Doe. However, there is a lot more content with Doe’s background as the story unfolds. In my review of King, I stated I had a harder time warming up to Doe because she’s closed off. Now, I get it. She is a kick-ass, strong female character. Just the type I love to read about. And the chemistry between Doe and King – Whew!

This book falls in line with King. If violence, drug use, revenge, etc. are not in your taste range, this is not a book for you. However, if you want a fast ride of hold-your-breath-oh-my-that-did-not-happen storyline along with your romance, pick this two book series up now. It is well worth the read!
