What did I just read? Was that really a Nicole Edwards novel? Yep, checked the cover. Holy Goodfellas does Menage Batman!! If you are a fan of Nicole Edwards, this new set of series are much darker than her HEA romances. Southern Boy Mafia, Devil's Playground and Sniper Security are full of alpha characters (both male and female) that are out to right wrongs no matter what side of the line of the law they stand on. Be warned, it's not all 'feel good' romance. It's gritty, underworld lawless storyline that mixes in with a very troubled Boss Lady."He was going to hell. He was going to get fired and then going to hell. He was going to get fired, Max was going to murder him for taking advantage of his sister, and then he was going to hell."
There you have it - Leyton's dilemma. No matter what he feels for either Ashlynn or Jase, he's going to hell. Because at the core of Leyton is a very loyal being. Once Max gives a somewhat veiled 'go ahead', now Leyton's biggest obstacle is Ashlynn herself. When they are together, two or three, the sparks fly off the page and will melt your eReader. Ms. Edwards provides insight to these complex characters as she weaves their story through all three points of view.
If you haven't read any of the series, I would recommend you visit Nicole Edwards website to get the reading order. Ms. Edwards is always on top of giving new readers enough in the story to make the connections to the other character. But do yourself a favor, just read the rest as it's worth it.
