The Girl Next Door (Bend or Break)

The Girl Next Door (Bend or Break) - Amy Jo Cousins You graduate college. You get the 'dream' job. Not the dream your parents wanted, but better because it's all yours. You may get paid little. You may live in a city where the humidity and heat bake you daily, but , dude, really you love your life. This is Cash, Tom's best buddy, from Off Campus. You can't help but love Cash. The words that come out of his mouth. Until a cousin shows up on your doorstep...

"You're seventeen?"

Cash is in a situation he is unsure how to navigate. His young male cousin has ended up at his apartment with family issues and just needs to chill. Cash is barely adulting himself. Now he needs to 'help' a young man through getting comfortable to his own skin. Cash needs help - he turns to the one person he knows he can count on but not keep his hands off, Steph.

I loved, loved, loved Cash and Steph in book one. I was so happy when I got to their story. Amy Jo Cousins provides witty quick dialogue. And wow -when they get between the sheet - here comes the heat!!! What did I love? Both characters were relatable. They had qualities you want in a friend and lover. The story flows evenly as they stumble into something more.

Book three is a m/f romance. If this is your preference in romance genre, I HIGHLY recommend this novel as a heartwarming and funny read. Although the third book in the series, each one can standalone. As I write my reviews, I've read books 1-4. Book three - definite 5 star read. Series - 5 stars overall!
